On 14th Nov, 2017, staff from AEGIS SDS attended a US Embassy Speaker Talk on Cybersecurity and the Digital Economy at the DARe Auditorium, Berakas conducted by Kevin T. McDonald of vCISO. In this session, the speaker shared his insight on digital economy, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and their associated risks in the view of cybersecurity. Additionally, key components of being digitally secure were discussed.
In November 2017, staff of AEGIS SDS attended a 3-day Alaris Capture Pro training session. The training was conducted by an experienced trainer from Alaris Singapore. The training session aims to hone and sharpen the employees’ skills and familiarity with the scanning software and also to update their knowledge on the latest scanning technology offered by Alaris.
In October 2017, the second batch of Supervisory Trainee was introduced. The three candidates will undergo a 12-month on-the-job training in all the different operations within the company. This programme aims to develop the necessary supervisory skills to enable future leadership and succession planning.
