On 28th April 2018, the Anti Corruption Bureau conducted a lecture on the corruption in workplace and its consequences. Among the aims of the talk is to enlighten the staff about bribery or corruption which can come in various forms and are often not obvious. AEGIS SDS takes matters relating to corruption very seriously as part of the Company’s Anti-Corruption & Bribery Policy in order to secure trust and safeguard the its reputation and that of its clients.
On 21st April 2018, five teams from various departments of AEGIS SDS participated in a Bowling Outing at Utama Bowling Center, Batu Satu Jalan Tutong. Among the aims of this after work activity are to foster teamwork and communication among the staff, allowing veteran bowling players to coach and instruct first timer and also to encourage the staff to explore new activities with positive attitude.
In April 2018, the third batch of Supervisory Trainee was introduced. The candidate will undergo a 12-month on-the-job training in all the different operations within the company. This programme aims to develop the necessary supervisory skills to enable future leadership and succession planning.
On 15th April, five representatives from SDS participated as volunteer first aider/medics on the trail run held at Tasek Lama Recreational Park near the capital. The trail is 14.5 Km of torturous hills runs on Jungle trail.
