Selamat Menyambut Hari Kebangsaan yang ke-42

Brunei Darussalam Celebrates 42 Years of Independence

On 23rd February 2026, Brunei Darussalam proudly celebrates its 42nd National Day, marking over four decades of independence, progress, and national unity.

This important occasion reminds us of the nation’s journey since independence in 1984 — a journey shaped by strong leadership, stability, and the collective efforts of its people. Over the past 42 years, Brunei has continued to grow and develop while preserving its rich heritage, Islamic values, and cultural identity under the philosophy of Melayu Islam Beraja (MIB).

National Day is more than a celebration; it is a moment of reflection. It allows us to appreciate the peace and prosperity we enjoy, and to recognise the contributions of those who have worked tirelessly to build and strengthen the nation. It also inspires us to look ahead with confidence, embracing innovation, unity, and resilience as we move towards a sustainable and progressive future.

As we commemorate this milestone, may we continue to uphold the values of harmony, respect, and cooperation that define our country. Together, let us remain committed to contributing positively to Brunei Darussalam’s continued growth and success.

Selamat Hari Kebangsaan ke-42, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Happy 42nd National Day, Brunei!

Selamat Menyambut Hari Kebangsaan ke-42!

Bersatu Mencapai Cita Negara embodies the spirit of solidarity and collective effort—reminding us that every contribution matters in shaping a secure and prosperous Brunei.

Salam Ramadhan 2026

Welcoming the Blessed Month of Ramadhan

As the holy month of Ramadhan arrives, we welcome a time filled with reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal. Observed by Muslims around the world, Ramadhan is a sacred month dedicated to fasting, prayer, self-discipline, and acts of kindness.

Beyond abstaining from food and drink from dawn to sunset, Ramadhan teaches patience, humility, and empathy for those in need. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, generosity, and strengthening our relationship with Allah SWT. The month encourages us to improve ourselves—not only spiritually, but also in how we treat others in our daily lives.

Ramadhan is also a time that brings families and communities closer together. From breaking fast at iftar to gathering for prayers, the spirit of unity and togetherness becomes more meaningful during this blessed month.

As we observe Ramadhan, may we find peace in reflection, strength in discipline, and joy in giving. May this sacred month bring blessings, good health, and renewed purpose to all.

Ramadhan Mubarak to all who are observing.
