Brunei and Philippine companies partner for cash secure solutions
Philippines, Makati, October 15, 2024: Aegis Secure Solutions Corp (Aegis Corp), a subsidiary of Aegis Sdn Bhd, of Brunei and Eagle Corinthians Integrated Security (Corinthians) of the Philippines formally entered into a joint venture agreement marking a significant strategic partnership between the two companies to provide comprehensive cash secure solutions in the Philippines.
The agreement was signed by key executives from both organizations. Representing Aegis Corp were Dato Ahmad Bin Isa, Chairman of Aegis Group Brunei, Jorge Francisco Vega, President of Aegis Corp, along with Directors Nur Khadijah Binti Ahmad and Gerald Radar G. Josue. Corinthians was represented by Noel E. Bongat, Chairman, Noel T. Bongat, President, Bernadette Nicetas T. Bongat, Treasurer, Director Bong Cruz and Legal Counsel Atty. Alex Cruz.
The event brought together teams from Aegis and Eagle Corinthians, underscoring the importance of this collaborative venture.
In the welcoming speech, Dato Ahmad bin Isa stated that “Today is the start of a new chapter of a strategic alliance that brings together the best of what each of us has to offer. With Corinthians’ resources, and deep local roots and our expertise in cash secure solutions, we are confident that this partnership will drive growth and deliver cutting-edge cash secure solutions”.
Noel E. Bongat, Chairman of Eagle Corinthians, echoed this sentiment, saying that each party complements each other to provide a full line of one-stop-shop cash management service. “We provide the armored vehicle, security services and local network of potential clients while Aegis provides their expertise and technology in cash center operations and cash secure solutions”.
The joint venture company will focus on enhanced cash security solutions particularly on secure cash transportation services, leveraging advanced software technology and local insight to deliver customized solutions for customers. Both companies are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and innovation in the industry.
