Noisy i3400 issue

Blank OCP Screen Display

Symptoms;

• The LCD screen is blank
• The light briefly turn yellow before turning back into red
• PC is connected
• SVT could detect the scanner
• Scanning cannot be done

 

Scanner Noise

Observations;

• Loud noise can be heard
• Noise seemingly comes from frontal part
• The noise appears when feeder clutch is turned on
• The noise cannot be heard when either feed module or separation rollers are removed
