On 25th October 2017, two employees from AEGIS SDS participated in a 3-day Project Management Workshop. The workshop aims to offer to develop competency in project management, project control, documentation tools and processes.
An employee of AEGIS SDS successfully completed part of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library – ITIL Intermediate certification after participating in the 5-day training. The ITIL (Continual Service Improvement) certification focuses on how organizations and individuals can strategically review the products and services they have produced following the strategy, design, transition and operation stages of the IT Service Lifecycle and offers guidance on how this process should be organized and executed. It also includes guidance on the tools and technology that can be used to support CSI activities as well as how to evaluate risks and critical success factors. CSI practices can help businesses and projects continue to meet and adapt to the changing needs of end users as well as improving efficiencies and returns on investment for organizations.
First Fitness Bootcamp, instructed by Alim Roslan, Operation Guarding Officer was held in Taman Jubli Perak on Friday, 13th October 2017. 16 staffs including Country Manager, Mr Jorge and HOD participated to this fun healthy event.
It is very efficient, providing a full-body strength and cardiovascular workout in a single hour. This is to educate our staffs on good health and effective exercises that require very little equipment.
13th October 2017, Cash team has conducted Emergency vehicle exit drill at AEGIS HQ. This is one of the activity to ensure the crew are able to exit safely from the vehicle within a reasonable time frame if any unexpected event.
On 11th October 2017, three representatives from AEGIS SDS attended a 2-day workshop on Cyber Incident Response. The workshop was led by a cyber-security expert. The course aims to equip IT personnel with relevant knowledge on the contemporary cyber security threats and how to detect and handle them.
