Participation in Basic Sign Language Workshop

On 25th to 27th February, AEGIS SDS sent 2 representatives to attend the first session of Basic Sign Language Workshop organized by JAPEM in collaboration with Special Education Unit (MoE), ENT and Audiology services (MoH) and graduates of UTB.

The 3 days workshop aims to provide exposure, knowledge and basic proficiency in the use of sign language to communicate with people with special needs in speech and hearing. AEGIS SDS support such initiative in accordance to our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy. For the past 10 years, the company has provided employment opportunities to special needs individuals for specific roles.

Participating in National Day Ceremonial Procession

On 23rd February 2019, twenty volunteers from SDS participated in the 35th National Day celebration ceremonial procession under Infocom Federation Brunei (IFB). Their participation is the expression of patriotism and love for our country Brunei Darussalam.

Inter-department Futsal Competition

CIT Team emerged winners of the Aegis/S3 Inhouse Futsal Friendly Match after they edged OCC Team 1-0 in a keenly contested affair at the Bolkiah Garrison Futsal Court on Friday night.

Irwandi Ramli proved to be the hero after netting the only goal of the game. Sungai Liang Team came in third.

The objective of the match was to promote a healthy lifestyle for Aegis/S3 employees thus with such positive feedback Aegis/S3 will look forward for more future friendly matches.

Contested by a total of eight teams, the meet also saw the presence of special futsal referee Maswandy bin Ahmad Sabtu, who has experience as a futsal refereeing course participant.

The other participating teams were Admin, FLM, ATM, MSS Aegis and MSS S3.

As event coordinator, Awangku Raid bin Pengiran Haji Abidin was present in ensuring that all members were present as well as coordinating teams. A HSC briefing was also conducted by Haji Mahmud bin Talil Haji Kasim.

A total of 80 players across eight teams were involved in ensuring the success of the event. Presenting the prizes was Aegis Cash Operations Manager Rafidah Aziz.

Happy 35th National Day

The management and staff of AEGIS Secure Data Solutions would like to wish all residents of Brunei Darussalam a Happy 35th National Day.

Our operations will close on Saturday, 23rd February 2019 to mark this momentous occasion. We will resume operations on Monday, 25th February 2019.

Alaris Scanner Service and Maintenance Training

On 19th to 21st February, five staff from SDS attended a 3-days training under the tutelage of a Senior Field Engineer for Alaris document scanners. ASDS equips its technicians with knowledge and skills to boost competency to enable them to provide better servicing and diagnostic for Alaris document scanners.
