Our HR Recruitment Team actively participated in Jelajah Kerjaya 2024, a career fair organized by Pusat Pekerjaan Brunei (PPB). The event took us across the nation, from Kuala Belait and Temburong to Brunei-Muara, where we had the privilege of meeting and engaging with job seekers eager to learn about our company and available opportunities.

AEGIS SECURE SOLUTIONS SDN BHD AND SPHERE SECURE SERVICES SDN BHD HOSTS FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION

3rd November 2024 – Aegis Secure Solutions Sdn Bhd (Aegis) and Sphere Secure Services Sdn Bhd (S3) are delighted to announce the success of its Annual Family Day, held on 3rd November 2024 at Jerudong Park. The event brought together employees and their families for a fun-filled day of activities, entertainment, and connection, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community and work-life balance.

The day began with a welcoming speech from the CEO, followed by the presentation of long service awards. Mr. Jorge Vega, CEO of Aegis Secure Solutions Sdn Bhd thanked all employees for their hard work, commitment and dedication in his welcoming remarks stating “Our success is built on the collective effort of everyone here. To all the spouses, partners, children, and loved ones, we say thank you. You are an integral part of Aegis & S3’s success story.”

A special moment was reserved to honor Nur Sarihafizzah Matasan, Aegis Sales Executive who recently achieved her Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business Marketing with a Grade Distinction, all while working at AEGIS. The CEO highlighted her remarkable commitment, inspiring everyone to continue pursuing personal and professional growth.

To kick off the fun activities, the Family Day committee led a lively warm-up session, energizing everyone for the fun ahead. Attendees enjoyed a variety of engaging activities designed for all ages. The celebration included carnival games, sack race, tug-of-war, and treasure hunt with prizes to be won for the games. These games were organized and facilitated by Mortar Events Sdn Bhd.  The event also included live-cook vendors from Si Abang Corner, Sugarly Sugarly and Oishii Takoyaki as well as catering from Nasta’een, offering a variety of delicious food options.

Once the official festivities were over the attendees had the opportunity to enjoy Jerudong Park for the remainder of the day. In total 208 employees and family members from Aegis and S3 attended. Family Day at AEGIS serves as a reminder of the company’s commitment to building a supportive and balanced workplace that values both professional achievements and personal connections. 

Aegis at B Seven’s Inter-Company Football 2024

Aegis participated in the Top-Bins Sevens Inter-Company Tournament last month. The team, led by Team Captain Sharifuddin Marji (Procurement Coordinator) and managed by Coaches Raid Abidin (MSS Admin Supervisor) and Anwar Rosly (HSE Officer), started with a 0-0 draw against TAIB and a 1-1 draw with The Fork.

In the second leg of the tournament, Aegis faced tougher competition, finishing 0-4 against TAIB and narrowly losing 0-1 to The Fork.

Despite the results, it was a fantastic team-building session, and everyone had a great time! GGNT, lads! Keep your heads up high because we can go back stronger!

Aegis Internal Fun Pool Tournament

Aegis had an Internal Fun Pool Tournament, organized by staffs on 27th September 2024. The competition was fierce, starting with an intense Quarter Final and narrowing down to the Semi Finals: Najmi vs Khairuddin and Sharifuddin vs Syazwan.

It all came down to a thrilling final match between Sharifuddin and Khairuddin in which overall, Sharifuddin took the lead and won the match!

Congratulations! Well played, everyone! Big shoutout to all the staff who participated in the tournament.
