This year, even amidst the COVID-19 situation in Brunei, our Supervisors has distributed food packs for Sungkai to S3 Guards working at their posts. The food distribution is an annual tradition and also serves as an opportunity to reach out to our staff and assist them during the holy month of Ramadhan.
Every year AEGIS has distributed food to all their employees working at their posts during the holy month of Ramadhan. Even amidst the COVID-19 situation in Brunei, AEGIS still continues to practice that tradition this year.
ASDS’ Sign Language Practitioners would like to remind everyone to stay at home and avoid unnecessary social gatherings to help our country to keep the spread of Corona virus in control.
From 17th to 19th March 2020, ASDS organized a 2 days training program that covers the essential management skills and 1 day training program that covers the communication skills for supervisors and officers. The purpose of this program is to increase the awareness of supervisory’s management role and the essential skills to lead a team. It also emphasize on improving and developing subordinates’ performance through effective management.
They will also be familiarizing on how to communicate with managers, peers , colleagues and clients using quality interactions. The staffs will be exposed to different communication styles and also understanding their current communicating patterns. They would also learn how to address difficult behavior, conflict situations and deliver bad news while maintaining respect and professionalism.
In March 2020, ASDS organized a 2-day workshop for a number of their staffs on managing organisational communication. The purpose of this workshop is to improve performance, productivity and profitability. The workshop focuses on specific workplace strategies , communication within their teams and organisation to deliver results and business objectives.
This workshop will also help develop interpersonal skills for individuals and build rapport with others through effective communication process.
