A fire safety talk on Live Safer 995 and Building Evacuation was carried out on 14th August 2019 at Sphere Secure Services (S3) building.
The talk was coordinated by the Public Relation Unit of Operation ‘F’ Branch of the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD).
A total of 23 participants from AEGIS attended the talk which among others discussed on general safety Life Saver 995, building evacuation and demonstration on the proposer way of using a fire extinguisher.
Last Friday, 13th August 2019, Aegis staff totaling 30, participated in an intramural bowling competition. There were 6 different teams and each group had 5 participants which were randomly selected from the various departments: Human Resources Unit, Internal Security Unit, Business Development Unit, Cash Unit, Guarding Unit, Admin Unit, IT Unit. Our Director, Mr Ahmad Bin Isa and CEO, Mr Jorge Vega joined in the fun.
The 9-8-9 pins with 30 frames games started with group photos and demonstrations of each group’s cheer chant. The competition concluded with a medal ceremony with Director, Mr Ahmad Bin Isa presenting. Purple team Sakti won the competition. 1st Runner Up was the Snow White team which included Mr Ahmad bin Isa and the 2nd Runner up was Blue team E-Bola.
Prizes were also awarded to best player, Nazri from the Cash Unit who racked up an impressive overall score of 518 and worst player with score of 173, Bahriah from Business Development Unit.
1st August 2019, Brunei Fire Rescue Department held a Fire Safety Briefing, Building Clearance and demonstration of fire extinguishers to 12 staff who are currently undergoing training.
The purpose of the briefing was to apply the recruiter’s readiness to carry out the task after completing the training and raising awareness of the danger of fire. It also promotes a sense of responsibility and concern about fire safety aspects.
Effective 01st August 2019, AEGIS Secure Data Solution’s Trading Name has officially changed to ASDS Sdn Bhd, while remaining under the AEGIS Trademark. This change is made to reflect the company’s growth and diversification into new lines of business on top of existing ones.
Our organisational structure and operations remain unchanged.
On 19th July 2019, ASDS’s Fire Wardens organized a Fire Drill exercise for the first time in 2019. The bi-annual exercise is meant to test the response time and staff preparation for evacuation in case of emergency. During the drill, the staff showed good alertness and response in timely evacuation in line with standard evacuation time.
ASDS will perform regular drills to maintain staff alertness and emergency response preparations in compliance with its HSE requirements.
