Aegis Leaders and Staff Sign Safety Pledge for World Day for Safety and Health at Work

In observance of Safety Month and the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, Aegis Secure Solutions Sdn Bhd held a Safety Pledge Signing Ceremony where both management and staff committed to specific actions to strengthen the company’s HSE culture.

During the event, employees from all levels were invited to write one, specific, actionable pledge next to their signature. The responses ranged from promising to actively identify risks, report near-misses, and follow safety protocols without exception.The ceremony marks the company’s ongoing commitment to reducing workplace incidents and building a stronger safety culture throughout the organization.

The completed poster will remain on display for the rest of the year as a reminder to all employees and visitors that safety is not just a policy, but a core value.

In addition to the Safety Pledge, Aegis launched a “Spot the Hazard” competition to refresh hazard reporting habits and encourage staff to remain vigilant. Winners who identify the most hazards will receive prizes.

The World Day for Safety and Health at Work (April 28) promotes workplace safety globally. This year’s ILO theme – “Good Psychosocial Working Environments” – highlights mental well-being alongside physical safety. Aegis proudly aligns with this observance, reaffirming that safety is a universal right and a shared responsibility.
